Can I bring a cake?

Due to health & safety regulations, we cannot allow celebratory cakes prepared outside of the Bistro to be consumed within the restaurant. We do however, offer a delicious Bistro made cake option instead, freshly made to order.

Our signature 8-inch Dark Chocolate & Salted Dulce de Leche cake is available with 48 hours notice, and it can comfortably feed up to 12 people for $85.

Please call or email us to place an order.

Are high chairs available?

Well-behaved children are welcome at the Bistro. However, due to the intimate dining space, highchairs are not available and please note that we do not offer a children's menu.

Are you BYO?

We are not a BYO restaurant. We do have a well-stocked bar and beautiful selection of wines available.

How do I book? Do you accept reservations?

We take bookings for lunch and for early evening dining up until 6pm. Smaller groups are welcome to book online or you can always give us a call. For larger groups of 6 or more, please call or email us to discuss options. From 6pm onwards, we offer casual dining, so please just come along and we will always find you a table. If we don't have a table available straight away, you are invited to enjoy a drink from our well-stocked bar offering everything from local craft beer to Champagne to cocktails.

How do I book for groups? Can I reserve the private dining room?

Upstairs at the Bistro you'll find our private dining room that can comfortably seat up to 16 people. It is available to book for lunch or dinner Monday - Friday. The private room can also serve as a great spot for a meeting with Wi-Fi and TV screen facilities. Please get in touch with your enquiry - info@boulcottstreetbistro.co.nz

Is parking available?

We have no parking facilities at the Bistro and so the closest option would be the Wilson Carparking building across from the restaurant which is accessed from Gilmer Terrace. There is on-street parking further down Boulcott Street and up on The Terrace.

How can I work at the Bistro?

We are always interested in hearing from hospitality professionals, please email a covering letter, CV and a little bit about yourself to info@BoulcottStreetBistro.co.nz and we will get in touch with you.
