Can I bring a birthday cake?

We offer delicious cake options to help mark your celebration. Due to hygiene regulations, we don't allow food prepared outside the Bistro to be consumed in the restaurant. A delicious house-baked chocolate cake, with a layer of berry compote and a chocolate ganache icing. Served with berry coulis and chocolate sauce. Small Cake, 4 inches (2-4 people) $40 Medium Cake, 6 inches (5-9 people) $60 Large Cake, 9 inches (10-14 people) $80 To order a cake please phone (04) 499 4199 or email us. Are high chairs available?

Well-behaved children are welcome at the Bistro. However, due to the intimate dining space, highchairs are not available.

Do you have BYO?

We are not a BYO restaurant. We do have a well-stocked bar and beautiful selection of wines available.

How do I book? Do you accept reservations?

We take lunch and early dinner bookings up until 6pm. From 6pm, we offer casual dining, so please just come along and we will always find you a table. If we don't have a table available straight away, you are invited to enjoy a drink from our well-stocked bar offering everything from local craft beer to Champagne.

How do I book for groups? Reserve the private dining room?

Upstairs at the Bistro is the private dining room that comfortably seats up to 16 people. The private dining room also offers meeting and function facilitates with wifi and AV screen. We would love to accommodate your request, please email us with your enquiry on

Is parking available?

There is a Wilson Car Parking Building across from the Bistro on Gilmer Terrace. Charges are $8 per hour during weekdays and $3 per hour during weekends.
